History

The Domain La Dona Tigana,

La Dona Tigana Domain is located in Cassis. It is one of the oldest winemaking areas in France dating back to the 12th century.

The winery was founded in 1998 by Jean Tigana, an internationally acclaimed football star.

Leaving behind his vineyards in the Bordeaux region, yet still passionate about winemaking, Tigana has found his place among the wine producers of the oldest Appelation d’Origine Contrôlée in France – the initial decree for the AOC wines of Cassis goes back to 1936.

On vineyards covering some 15 hectares, and paying due respect to their history La Dona Tigana produces white and rosé wines in the Cassis AOC.
